Privacy Policy

Summary

GinUp English stores learning progress on your device and does not require registration. The app does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location.

Information stored on your device

The app may store the following information locally:

• completed grammar topics;
• test scores and learning progress;
• pronunciation practice progress;
• achievements and streaks;
• selected app language and theme.

Internet features

Most learning content works offline. Internet access may be used for pronunciation recognition, Jean mentor explanations, and in-app purchase or restore purchase flows through Apple App Store or Google Play.

Jean mentor explanations

When you open a mistake explanation, GinUp English may send educational content needed to generate a short explanation:

• app language;
• grammar question text;
• answer options;
• the selected answer index;
• the correct answer index.

This request is processed through our Cloudflare Worker proxy and may be forwarded to Google's Gemini API. The Gemini API key is stored only on the server side and is not included in the app.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. GinUp English does not receive or store your payment card information.
